Ingredients
  

For the Refresher Base
  • 1/2 cup 100% cranberry juice
  • 1/2 cup blood orange juice (or regular orange juice, pulp free)
  • 1/2 cup white grape juice
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon citric acid
For Serving
  • to taste Ice
  • to taste Freeze-dried cranberries (or fresh cranberries)
  • optional warm spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom For a spiced version

Method
 

Make the Refresher Base
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine cranberry juice, blood orange juice, white grape juice, water, sugar, and citric acid.
  2. Heat over low, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool in a mason jar.
Make the Refresher
  1. In a glass, mix 1/2 cup of the Cran-Merry Refresher Base with 1/2 cup of water.
  2. Pour over ice and top with freeze-dried or fresh cranberries.
  3. Enjoy!

Notes

For a casual setting, serve in clear glasses with ice. Garnish with a slice of orange for a festive touch. This drink can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to one week.
