Ingredients
  

For the Refresher Base
  • 0.5 cup 100 percent cranberry juice
  • 0.5 cup blood orange juice or regular orange juice, pulp free
  • 0.5 cup white grape juice
  • 0.33 cup water
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon citric acid
For Serving
  • 0.5 cup lemonade
  • Ice Necessary for serving
  • Freeze-dried cranberries or fresh cranberries for garnish
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 0.125 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • a pinch ground cardamom (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Add all the ingredients for the refresher base (cranberry juice, blood orange juice or regular orange juice, white grape juice, water, granulated sugar, and citric acid) into a medium saucepan.
  2. Heat over low heat and stir the mixture until the sugar dissolves and everything is combined.
Cooling
  1. Once the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is well blended, remove the pan from heat.
  2. Transfer the mixture into a large mason jar or any container and let it cool completely before using.
Serving
  1. In a glass, stir together 0.5 cup of the Cran-Merry Orange Refresher Base with 0.5 cup of lemonade.
  2. Pour the mixture over ice and top it with freeze-dried or fresh cranberries for a festive touch.
  3. Enjoy your drink!

Notes

Store leftover refresher in a sealed container in the fridge for up to three days. Fresh fruits for garnish should be added when serving.
