Ingredients
  

Cran-Merry Drink Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup 100 percent cranberry juice
  • 1/2 cup blood orange juice or regular orange juice, pulp-free Blood orange juice recommended for flavor
  • 1/2 cup white grape juice
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon citric acid
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon Optional
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg Optional
  • pinch ground cardamom Optional
  • 1/2 cup prepared Cran-Merry Orange Refresher Base See preparation instructions
  • 1/2 cup sweetened coconut milk
  • Ice For serving
  • Freeze-dried cranberries or fresh cranberries for garnish For garnishing the drink

Method
 

Prepare the Refresher Base
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberry juice, blood orange juice, white grape juice, water, granulated sugar, citric acid, and optional warm spices.
Heat the Mixture
  1. Place the saucepan on low heat and stir gently until the sugar has fully dissolved.
Cool the Base
  1. Remove from heat and pour the mixture into a large mason jar. Allow it to cool completely before using.
Combine with Coconut Milk
  1. In a shaker, add the cooled Refresher Base and sweetened coconut milk, then shake well.
Serve Over Ice
  1. Fill a tall glass with ice and pour the Cran-Merry mixture over the ice.
Garnish and Enjoy
  1. Add freeze-dried or fresh cranberries as a garnish and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve chilled over ice. Additional garnish options include a slice of orange or sprig of mint. The drink is versatile and can be served at holiday parties or family dinners.
