  • 6 pieces hard-boiled eggs Boiled and cooled
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese Should be smooth for best texture
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise Optional for creaminess
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard Adds tangy flavor
  • Salt and pepper to taste To enhance flavor
  • Paprika for garnish Add a pinch for color
  • Fresh chives for garnish Chopped for topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half and scoop out the yolks into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the cottage cheese, mayonnaise, and Dijon mustard to the yolks and mix until smooth.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Spoon or pipe the mixture back into the halved egg whites.
  5. Sprinkle with paprika and fresh chives before serving.

Notes

These deviled eggs can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Best enjoyed fresh. Freezing is not recommended due to texture changes.
