  • 1 cup dill pickles, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon dill (fresh or frozen) or finely chopped parsley

  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of real mayonnaise.
  3. Add 1 cup of finely chopped dill pickles to the bowl.
  4. Include 1 tablespoon of dill or finely chopped parsley.
  5. Squeeze in 1 teaspoon of lemon juice.
  6. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar.
  7. Sprinkle in 1/4 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper.
  8. If desired, add 2 tablespoons of finely chopped onion.
  9. Stir all the ingredients together until well combined.
  10. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Can be frozen, though texture may change slightly upon thawing. Customize with ingredients like hot sauce or mustard for variations.
