Ingredients
  

For the casserole
  • 1 can 10.5 ounces Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup
  • 4 cups green beans (fresh, frozen, or canned) You can use 2 cans, one 16 oz package frozen, or 1½ pounds of fresh.
  • 1⅓ cups crispy French fried onions, divided
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper or to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven or air fryer to 350°F.
  2. Coat the 9x9 casserole dish with cooking spray.
  3. If using fresh green beans, clean and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Blanch in boiling water for about 2 minutes. For canned beans, drain them well.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.
  5. Stir in the soy sauce and then mix in the prepared green beans and ⅔ cup of crispy onions. Season with black pepper to your liking.
  6. Transfer the mixture into the prepared casserole dish and spread evenly.
Cooking
  1. For Air Fryer: Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes, then stir the mixture, top with the remaining crispy onions, and cook for an additional 2 minutes until golden.
  2. For Oven: Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes, stir, add remaining onions, and bake for 5 more minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Perfect to serve with roasted turkey, ham, or chicken.
