Preparation
- Preheat your oven or air fryer to 350°F.
- Coat the 9x9 casserole dish with cooking spray.
- If using fresh green beans, clean and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Blanch in boiling water for about 2 minutes. For canned beans, drain them well.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.
- Stir in the soy sauce and then mix in the prepared green beans and ⅔ cup of crispy onions. Season with black pepper to your liking.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared casserole dish and spread evenly.
Cooking
- For Air Fryer: Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes, then stir the mixture, top with the remaining crispy onions, and cook for an additional 2 minutes until golden.
- For Oven: Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes, stir, add remaining onions, and bake for 5 more minutes until golden brown.
Notes
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Perfect to serve with roasted turkey, ham, or chicken.
