  • 1 cup milk of your choice Can use dairy or dairy-free milk
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla protein powder of your choice
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup Can substitute with honey or agave syrup
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon For extra flavor, adjust according to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 shot espresso or ½ cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 stick cinnamon stick (optional for garnish)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small pot, add 1 cup of milk and heat it over medium heat until warm, about 5 minutes.
  2. Once the milk is warm, stir in 2 tablespoons of vanilla protein powder, 1 teaspoon of maple syrup, ½ teaspoon of cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon of nutmeg, and ¼ teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  3. Using a handheld frother, froth the mixture until smooth and slightly bubbly.
  4. Brew or pour 1 shot of espresso into a coffee cup. If you prefer, use ½ cup of strong brewed coffee.
  5. Carefully pour the frothed milk mixture over the coffee in your cup.
  6. Garnish with a cinnamon stick or an extra sprinkle of cinnamon.

Notes
