  • ¼ cup cocoa powder, sifted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • Whipped cream (optional) For topping.
  • Chocolate shavings For topping.
  • Crushed candy canes For topping.
  • Holiday sprinkles For topping.

Preparation
  1. Brew the Coffee: Start by brewing 4 cups of strong coffee. Let it cool to room temperature.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a large saucepan, combine the cooled coffee, milk, heavy cream, and chocolate syrup.
  3. Add Sweeteners and Flavors: Add the granulated sugar, sifted cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Heat the Mixture: Place the saucepan on medium heat. Stir occasionally, allowing the mixture to become steaming hot but not boiling, for about 45-50 minutes.
  5. Let it Rest: Remove the pot from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve: Ladle the punch into mugs, top with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, crushed candy canes, and holiday sprinkles.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 days. It's best enjoyed fresh; avoid freezing as the texture may change.
