Ingredients

Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup Powdered Creamer Adds creaminess and richness; substitute with dairy or non-dairy milk powder for a similar texture.
  • 1 cup Hot Cocoa Mix Provides sweetness and chocolate flavor; opt for a homemade cocoa powder blend for a personal touch.
  • 1 cup Instant Coffee Delivers a quick coffee kick; switch it with brewed coffee for a more robust flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Sugar Sweetens the blend; consider reducing the amount or using an alternative sweetener based on preference.
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger Offers a hint of heat; you can omit this if you prefer a milder spice profile.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Clove Enhances the festive taste with warmth; substitute with allspice if clove is unavailable.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg Provides a nutty aroma; reduce the amount if you prefer a subtler spice note.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cardamom Adds a fragrant complexity; this ingredient can be omitted if needed.

Method

Preparation
  1. Combine all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl: powdered creamer, hot cocoa mix, instant coffee, sugar, and all the spices.
  2. Using a whisk or spoon, mix all the ingredients together until evenly distributed.
  3. Optionally, use a grinder to create a finer texture for the ingredients.
  4. When ready to brew, scoop out about 2-3 tablespoons of the mixture into a cup.
  5. Add hot water over the mixture and stir well until dissolved.
  6. Optionally, top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or chocolate shavings before serving.

Notes

Store the dry mixture in an airtight container for several weeks. Consider individual portions for easy use later. This coffee goes well with holiday cookies, gingerbread, or breakfast pastries.
