Ingredients
  

For the Chili Honey Glaze
  • 140 g clear honey
  • 1 tsp Cooks' Ingredients Peppery Pul Biber Can substitute with another chili pepper if necessary.
  • 1/2 tsp dried chilli flakes Adjust according to heat preference.
For the Salad
  • 2 oranges Segmented.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For frying halloumi.
  • 225 g Waitrose Duchy Organic Cypriot Halloumi, sliced Can use other halloumi brands.
  • 1/2 pack pea shoots (80g)
  • 50 g wild rocket

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small saucepan, combine the honey, peppery pul biber, and dried chilli flakes over low heat until warm and combined.
  2. Segment the oranges and set aside.
Cooking
  1. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the sliced halloumi. Cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes.
Assembly
  1. Assemble the salad by placing the halloumi, pea shoots, wild rocket, and orange segments on a plate.
  2. Drizzle the chilli honey glaze over the salad before serving.

Notes

Keep the chili honey glaze separate when storing leftovers to avoid soggy salad. Great for picnics and potlucks.
