  • 1 cup cold filtered water Chilled for a refreshing drink.
  • ½ lemon lemon (optional) Squeezed for flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional) For sweetness.

Preparation
  1. Add chia seeds to water: Start by measuring one tablespoon of chia seeds and pour them into a cup or glass.
  2. Stir well for 30 seconds: Use a spoon to stir the chia seeds into the cold filtered water, ensuring all seeds are mixed well.
  3. Let soak for at least 10–15 minutes: Allow the mixture to sit for about 10 to 15 minutes for the seeds to swell.
  4. Add lemon and honey if desired: Squeeze in half a lemon and stir in a teaspoon of honey for added flavor.
  5. Stir again and serve chilled: Give the mixture a final stir and chill it for an extra refreshing experience before serving.

Notes

Chia seed water can be stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Freezing is not recommended as the texture may change.
