Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 175°C.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until fully browned, around 7 to 10 minutes.
- Once cooked, drain any excess fat from the skillet.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the browned beef, cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, milk, 100 grams of cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well-mixed.
- Spread the mixture evenly into a 23 x 33 centimeter baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining 50 grams of cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes until the cheese is melted and the casserole is hot and bubbling.
- Allow the casserole to cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
Pairs well with a fresh salad or steamed vegetables. Can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and frozen for up to 3 months.
