Preparation
- Brew a shot of espresso or prepare a strong cup of coffee.
- In a small saucepan, combine the caramel dolce syrup and brown sugar. Heat over low to medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Heat the milk in a saucepan or microwave until warm, then froth until velvety.
Assembly
- Pour the freshly brewed espresso or coffee into a glass or mug.
- Gently pour the frothed milk over the coffee.
- Drizzle warm caramel dolce syrup over the milk.
- Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of sea salt, if desired.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Don't freeze as it may change texture and flavor.
