- Using a mortar and pestle (or a small bowl), combine half of the minced garlic and herbs and crush them together until well blended.
- Repeat the process with the remaining half of the garlic and herbs.
- Transfer the crushed mixture to a small bowl and add the olive oil.
- Taste and adjust salt or pepper as needed, then let rest for about 10 minutes to blend flavors.
- If you do not have a mortar and pestle, finely mince the garlic and stir everything together in a bowl.
Notes
Store the dip in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 to 7 days. Do not freeze the oil mixture as it can change texture. For portion control, serve 1 to 2 tablespoons per serving.
