Ingredients
  

For the drink
  • 1 cup brewed coffee Use your favorite variety
  • 1 oz peppermint schnapps Adjust to taste
  • 1 oz chocolate liqueur For a rich chocolate flavor
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder Unsweetened preferred
  • 1 tablespoon sugar Optional, adjust to sweetness preference
For serving
  • to taste whipped cream For topping
  • to taste crushed peppermint candies For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brew a cup of your favorite coffee.
  2. In a mug, combine brewed coffee, peppermint schnapps, chocolate liqueur, cocoa powder, and sugar if desired.
  3. Stir well until combined.
  4. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

If storing leftovers, refrigerate for a day or two, but add whipped cream fresh when serving. It’s not recommended to freeze the drink as the texture will change.
