Ingredients

Creamer Base
  • 1.5 cups half & half Use high-quality for the best flavor.
  • 0.5 cups heavy cream Use high-quality for the best flavor.
Sweeteners
  • 0.75 cups granulated sugar Adjust based on your sweetness preference.
  • 0.25 cups brown sugar (packed) Adjust based on your sweetness preference.
Flavorings
  • 1 tbsp blueberry extract Adjust based on your taste.
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract Use a higher amount for a richer taste.

Method

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients to ensure everything is ready for easy mixing.
  2. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the half and half, heavy cream, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Place the saucepan on the stove over medium-low heat. Watch for steam to rise from the mixture to indicate it's warming up.
  4. Stir occasionally until the sugars dissolve completely, which takes a few minutes.
  5. Once the creamer is smooth and well combined, remove the saucepan from the heat.
  6. Add the blueberry extract and vanilla extract to the warm mixture and stir well.
  7. Allow the creamer to cool for about 10 minutes at room temperature.
  8. Pour the creamer into a mason jar or any container with a lid.
  9. Seal the container and store the creamer in the fridge for up to 7 days.

Notes

Quality ingredients enhance the flavor, and letting the creamer cool completely before use will improve its taste. Experiment with sweetness and flavorings to suit your preferences. Store in an airtight container, labeling it with the date for freshness tracking.
