Ingredients
  

For the Mocktail
  • 1 oz non-alcoholic blue curacao syrup
  • 1 cup lemonade
  • 1 oz alcohol-free vodka (or lemon juice/orange juice) optional substitution
  • 1 Fruit or flowers to garnish optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon blue spirulina for a healthier option
  • 1 cup low sugar/sugar-free lemonade for a healthier option

Method
 

For the Classic
  1. Fill a large glass with ice.
  2. Pour the blue curacao syrup and alcohol-free vodka (or alternative) into your glass.
  3. Slowly top with lemonade.
  4. Stir gently, garnish and serve.
For the Better For You
  1. Fill a large glass with ice.
  2. Place blue spirulina in your glass, then add the alcohol-free vodka (or alternative) and lemonade.
  3. Stir gently. If the drink foams up, scoop out the foam.
  4. Garnish and serve.
For a Pitcher
  1. Multiply the ingredients by the number of servings and stir gently in a large pitcher.
  2. Add ice at the last minute to keep the drink bright and cold.

Notes

Store any leftover base (syrup and lemonade mix without ice) in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Do not freeze a glass with spirulina or carbonated parts. You can freeze portions of lemonade in ice trays for later use. Serve with options like mixed nuts or Greek yogurt to add protein.
