- Start by taking a heat-safe mug.
- Pour the Irish whiskey into the mug.
- Add 1 teaspoon of maple syrup (add more if you like it sweeter).
- Pour a splash of freshly brewed coffee into the mug.
- Use a spoon to stir the mixture until the maple syrup dissolves.
- Finish pouring the rest of the coffee into the mug.
- Taste the Irish Coffee and adjust sweetness with more maple syrup if desired.
- Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
- Serve your Irish Coffee hot.
Notes
Irish Coffee is best enjoyed fresh. Store the mixture of coffee and whiskey in the refrigerator without whipped cream if made ahead. Reheat before serving and add fresh whipped cream.
