Ingredients
  

Main ingredients
  • 1-2 cups strong brewed coffee Brewed using your preferred method.
  • 1/4 cup high-quality chocolate (semi-sweet or dark) For melting.
  • 2 oz peppermint schnapps Divided for use.
  • 1 oz Kahlua Divided for use.
  • Milk of choice Use 2% or whole dairy milk, as preferred.
  • Canned whipped cream For topping.
  • Christmas sprinkles For rim and topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brew coffee using your preferred method until it's nice and hot.
  2. Place the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and melt it in the microwave in 20-second increments, stirring in between until fully melted.
  3. Dip the rim of mugs into the melted chocolate and then shake some sprinkles onto the wet chocolate. Scoop remaining melted chocolate into the bottoms of each mug.
  4. Pour the brewed coffee into the mugs, filling each one about 3/4 full, and stir to mix the chocolate at the bottom.
  5. Add 1 oz of peppermint schnapps and 1/2 oz of Kahlua to each mug and stir well to combine.
  6. Pour in milk to taste and finish with a generous swirl of whipped cream, garnishing with extra sprinkles.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy the festive flavors!

Notes

Consider offering a non-alcoholic option by omitting the schnapps and Kahlua. Also, serve with holiday treats or create a coffee bar for customization.
