  • 1.25 cups water Gradually added to form dough.
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast. Gradually add water until a rough dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  3. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size, about 1 to 1.5 hours.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Divide the dough into three equal pieces and shape them into baguettes.
  3. Place the shaped baguettes in a baguette pan and let them rise for 30 minutes.
  4. Bake for 18 to 24 minutes, or until the loaves are golden brown and sound hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  5. Let cool before slicing.
