Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken or turkey, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
- Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into chick figures, forming rounded bodies and little wings. Place each formed chick on the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle olive oil over the shaped chicks to help them crisp up in the oven.
Baking
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the chicks are golden brown and cooked through.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
These Baby Chicks are incredibly versatile! Serve them with a side of steamed vegetables or a salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
