For the Latte
  • 1 cup boiling water Used to steep the tea
  • 1 bag chai tea
  • cup apple cider Adds sweetness
  • ½ cup almond milk or milk of choice Can be substituted with any preferred milk
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon For flavor
  • teaspoon allspice Enhances the spice profile
  • 1 stick cinnamon stick For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by adding boiling water to the tea bag in a large mug. Allow it to steep for 5 minutes.
  2. While the tea is steeping, place apple cider, almond milk, cinnamon, and allspice in a medium saucepan over low heat. Stir continuously.
  3. After a few minutes, remove the saucepan from heat. Continue stirring well for a minute to mix everything evenly.
  4. Pour the heated milk mixture into the mug with the chai tea. You can serve it with a cinnamon stick or sprinkle extra cinnamon on top for more flavor.

Notes

Enjoy warm on its own, or pair it with cookies or pastries for a tasty treat. Add toppings like whipped cream for extra delight. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days.
